Sometimes the stomach keeps the pouchiness because of bowel problems. I'd recommend doing one of the Bowel Cleanses before, after or during your diet to make sure you aren't carrying around a lot of rotting stuff in you. Also some people have lost weight after doing the parasite cleanses because they no longer have the urge to eat all the time.
Apparently the slower you lose the weight the more likely the stomach is to go back to it's normal size. Bummer I know, but that is why people who lose too much weight too fast sometimes need tummy tucks to get rid of a sag.
You are right about the skin being slower to retract, if at all, in the advanced years. I have seen those who I know have been thin all their life with sagging skin in the abdominal and pectoral areas, also under the triceps. I believe they call it gravity! It can be removed, but I personally do not recommend use of the knife with out necessity.
Another thing you need to do is try dry skin brushing. They sell skin brushes at every health store that I have seen in my area. They will have books on it too. The secret is to start with your hands and extremities and brush towards your heart. The skin will get tighter. It works best dry, not in the shower, and first thing in the morning. Say goodbye to cellulite! Theresa Tapp talks a lot about it in her workout system. She is expensive though (125$), but just the brush and directions are sometimes available seperately costing a mere 15$. You can probably get it cheaper on the web or in your local store. Don't worry, you'll be tight soon!
How is skin brushing like? Well, I love skin brushing! At first, it was uncomfortable, but it is now a great feeling when done! I have lost over 25 pounds, and do worry about the sag business, but then started parasite cleanse - I got very itchy - so started skin brushing and it is wonderful! I did not know it would help avoid loose skin after losing the weight!
